City of South Tucson Staple, Mexico Lindo, Grows with AVANZA Empowerment Fund

Mexico Lindo will be expanding their delivery capabilities and installing a cold storage capacity at their in-store food market.

Celebrating two decades in Tucson, Mexico Lindo stands as a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit of Eduardo and Gloria Barnett.

Born of their roots, the establishment flourished into a purveyor of diverse products, including premium cuts of meat, artisan cheeses, tortilla, tamales, and imported Mexican products.

Eduardo and Gloria's journey led them to the the City of Tucson Small Business Navigator Program and soon after, AVANZA.

Through AVANZA, Mexico Lindo received $80,000 in flexible loan funding to augment delivery capabilities by adding refrigeration to their trucks and expanding cold storage capacity.

Beyond being custodians of a thriving business, Eduardo and Gloria embody a narrative of resilience, ambition, and collaboration. Mexico Lindo not only serves as a Tucson staple but also as a testimony of the power of flexible funding in our small business community. Connect with Mexico Lindo here:
